EVALUATIONS

NIS is an approved evaluation site for children aged birth to five. If you reside in Suffolk county and suspect that your child age birth to five has a developmental delay or disability a complete evaluation is available to determine the need for services at no cost to you.

Evaluations may include: behaviorial, educational, occupational therapy, physical therapy, psychological, speech & language, and hearing assessments.

If your child is found eligible and services are authorized, they are provided at no cost to familes.
