New School is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization which provides special education and therapeutic services to children birth through age 5 with developmental disabilities.   Our school is supported through County and State funding, which covers direct services to our children. 

Support from generous corporations, individuals and community groups have helped us build a state of the art media/library center and refurbish our adaptive playground. We are always enhancing and enriching our programs and we need your support.

There is only one place to be on June 7th, 2010, and that is the Port Jefferson Country Club for the NIS 14th annual golf outing.

This year we are proud to honor John Lorenzo whose son graduated from NIS in 2009. John and his extended family have supported NIS for the past three years. As a very active member of our golf committee, John has introduced many golfers to NIS and hopes that many more will join us this year.

The setting at Port Jefferson Country Club is beautiful, with views overlooking the Long Island Sound. The outing features a full day of golf with breakfast, a barbeque lunch and a buffet dinner by Villa Lombardi’s on the Sound. While enjoying this special day you will be supporting the NIS kids and their families.With your help we can add special features to our programs and ensure the best learning environment for our children.
