SPECIAL EVENTS Special events are our way of sharing the monthly curriculum theme with parents. Each month a fun parent-child activity is planned to complement that month’s theme. It’s a great way to become aware of what’s happening at the school and to make connections with other parents
Winter Activities
This month the children will be exploring many of the activities that happen in the winter months and in the cold weather. Please join your child in our winter wonderland as we ice skate, build snow forts, dress a snowman and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate!

Our health policies are in place to keep our children and staff healthy throughout the year. A health guide was sent to you in our welcome packet and can also be viewed on this website. If you have any questions about any of our procedures, please call me. A reminder to all: frequent and proper hand washing is our #1 defense against germs! I look forward to a wonderful school year with your children. |

PARENT EDUCATION WORKSHOP |
We all want our children to develop their reading and writing skills that are so important in their future schooling. Early Literacy involves the development of skills that get our children ready to read and write. We will be talking about the six pre-reading skills that children need, and how families can help strengthen these skills. Look in your child’s backpack for further information. |
