The Richard J. O’Brien Foundation is dedicated to honoring the memory of its namesake, who was very active in NIS and many other non-profit organizations across Long Island. The foundation is entirely volunteer-based.

Brooks Brothers awarded NIS with a grant to purchase a Sensory Rover Unit, benefiting children in all of our classrooms. They have also put together Thanksgiving baskets and collected holiday gifts for our students with financial difficulties.
Matthijssen, an IT solutions company, has agreed to donate $100 to NIS for every deal their employee, an NIS parent, closes with their company. Perhaps your company would be willing to do something similar. Inquire within!
